Description

  • Support live dispatch events by quickly analyzing situations and coaching customers through inbound and outbound calls and texts.
  • Serve as a real-time resource for customers during grid emergencies by providing clear, actionable guidance.
  • Monitor customer load curtailment during dispatch events, identify underperforming sites, and help diagnose issues before the dispatch window closes.
  • Build expertise in demand response programs across North America and apply that knowledge to support customers and internal teams.
  • Maintain and act on reporting findings using Python, Redash, SQL, Salesforce, and Google Sheets.
  • Document lessons learned after dispatch events and help improve dispatch processes and customer readiness.
  • Support customer onboarding by coordinating Dispatch Verification scheduling and keeping onboarding projects updated in Salesforce.
  • Monitor weather and pricing indicators, assist with customer scheduling requests, and help assess customer market offers in real time.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and help educate teammates on dispatch processes and best practices.
  • Own a performance analytics project that identifies dispatch patterns, builds dashboards, analyzes historical data, and presents recommendations.

  • Ability to stay prepared, take initiative, and not wait to be told what to do.
  • Willingness to ask questions, learn quickly, and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ambitious, resourceful, dedicated, and mission-driven attitude.
  • Interest in energy operations, distributed energy, or demand response programs.
  • Comfort working with reporting and data tools such as Python, Redash, SQL, Salesforce, and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to work remotely from an approved home location in the US or Canada, unless otherwise indicated.
  • Authorization to work in the US or Canada; Voltus does not sponsor visas or transfers for new hires.
  • Ability to work primarily from your home country under Voltus remote work policy.
