Description

  • Define and drive product strategy for customer dispatch, performance, settlement, metering and hardware data, and the customer financial experience.
  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of product managers as a player-coach while staying hands-on with core product work.
  • Build scalable customer experiences that transition high-touch service relationships into self-serve product workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, energy markets, GTM, commercial leadership, and the market platform PM team to prioritize and deliver solutions.
  • Balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution through discovery, experimentation, iteration, and product design.
  • Own key product metrics including customer engagement, retention, settlement accuracy, value per MW, and financial transparency.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support customer enrollment, asset management, and participation in electricity markets.
  • Apply AI-enabled practices to improve product team discovery, specs, prototyping, and delivery.
  • Help customers understand their economics and earn more value from their resources through the platform.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience.
  • 3+ years leading and scaling product management teams in high-growth environments.
  • Deep expertise in energy markets, especially demand response, DER participation, energy storage, or grid services.
  • Strong understanding of enrollment, dispatch, performance measurement, and settlement; this is a hard requirement.
  • Proven experience shipping customer-facing products at scale.
  • Experience turning high-touch, data-intensive, financially driven customer relationships into scalable self-serve products.
  • Player-coach orientation with a desire to lead, develop, and stay close to the craft.
  • Experience bringing AI tools and practices into a product organization and improving discovery, writing specs, prototyping, and shipping.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional influencing skills, including at the executive level.
  • Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States or Canada, aligned to a US time zone; Voltus does not sponsor visas or transfers for new hires.

  • Base salary of $200,000–$230,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
