Description

  • Review project proposals and architectural blueprints for electrical estimation work.
  • Identify, count, and record electrical components such as light fixtures, outlets, and wiring.
  • Input takeoff data into estimation software and calculate material quantities and costs.
  • Develop detailed project scopes to help assess contract sizes and plan projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare actionable plans for technicians.
  • Manage emails, calendars, scheduling, files, and other administrative tasks.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, meeting notes, and written summaries.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications and customer inquiries.
  • Track project progress, deadlines, and task completion across the team.
  • Assist with research, basic troubleshooting, and optional social media or marketing support.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in home services or construction, preferably in electrical services.
  • Strong ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with estimation software; prior experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience in administrative support, scheduling, and communication.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to review proposals and perform electrical takeoffs, including counting fixtures, outlets, and wiring.
  • Training on specialized estimation software is provided if needed.
