Description

  • Own the BU marketing strategy and roadmap, from commercial brief to prioritised plan.
  • Lead pipeline and demand generation across acquisition, channel performance, and lead quality with Sales.
  • Own lifecycle, retention, renewal, and expansion programmes in partnership with Customer Success.
  • Track and report on pipeline contribution, conversion, and retention impact against company-wide metrics.
  • Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and line management for two Marketing Coordinators.
  • Work closely with central Marketing to stay aligned on brand, reporting, and shared priorities.
  • Represent the business units to leadership and translate commercial needs into clear marketing actions.
  • Influence stakeholders across a matrixed environment to get plans agreed and delivered.

Requirements

  • Experience owning end-to-end marketing performance for a BU, segment, or revenue line in a B2B environment.
  • Comfort working across the full funnel, from acquisition through retention and expansion.
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales and Customer Success as commercial stakeholders.
  • Experience coaching or managing junior team members.
  • Ability to work effectively in matrixed environments and influence without relying on authority.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a remote-first environment and being primarily UK-based with eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Background in SaaS, fintech, or a similarly commercially complex sector is preferred.
  • Experience working alongside a central/shared marketing function, in a startup or scaleup, or knowledge of shares and share schemes is preferred.
