Description

  • Define the product vision and long-term strategic direction in alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
  • Own product P&L and use financial insights to guide roadmap prioritization and investment decisions.
  • Translate product strategy into actionable plans, including what to build and when to release it.
  • Build and maintain detailed internal development roadmaps and high-level executive and customer roadmaps.
  • Gather and synthesize input from customers, internal stakeholders, market research, and industry insights.
  • Prioritize features and backlog items by balancing user value, effort, time to market, and competitive differentiation.
  • Work with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to deliver and launch products.
  • Establish pricing strategies, product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
  • Run trials, pilots, and MVPs to validate assumptions and refine products before broader release.
  • Track and evaluate product performance, including sales, renewals, adoption, usability, satisfaction, and P&L impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications such as Pragmatic Marketing or CSPO are a plus.
  • 7+ years of product management experience within a software organization.
  • Experience with pricing strategies, business cases, and P&Ls.
  • Experience developing and executing modernization strategies, including transitioning legacy solutions to cloud-based architectures.
  • Experience establishing value propositions, product messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and AI-centric development with Claude Code.
  • Highly effective cross-functional leadership with the ability to influence up, down, and across the organization.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Aha! Product Management software, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, mobile apps, public safety standards, wellness, or Case Management Systems is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI technologies and adopt AI tools in daily support workflows is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and able to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Reliability security clearance.
