Description

  • Own the global Move Money Platform roadmap, multi-year strategy, and execution across North America, EMEA, and expansion markets.
  • Set the network strategy for how Versapay connects to financial systems, including direct and indirect rails across fiat and crypto.
  • Lead engineering teams through the full SDLC, including product requirements, technical design partnership, sprint planning, and release readiness.
  • Design and operate network connectivity across card networks, bank networks, processors, sponsor banks, custodians, and on/off-ramp partners.
  • Own resiliency, redundancy, fault tolerance, and automated failover across providers, rails, and chains.
  • Drive trade-off decisions on architecture, throughput, latency, performance, and reliability in partnership with engineering leadership.
  • Own compliance requirements across networks, chains, and jurisdictions and translate them into product requirements.
  • Represent Versapay externally with networks, partner organizations, sponsor banks, custodians, processors, and regulators.
  • Apply AI capabilities to improve routing, decline recovery, anomaly detection, settlement forecasting, fraud and sanctions signals, and operational automation.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on payment networks, money movement, stablecoin settlement, on-chain mechanics, and global rail economics.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in payments or fintech product management.
  • At least 3 years of experience owning a platform or infrastructure product end to end.
  • Experience owning a global roadmap rather than only a regional one.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, integrating, and operating payment network connections across both fiat and crypto rails.
  • Experience shipping and running direct or indirect connections to card networks and EMEA bank networks.
  • Hands-on experience with stablecoin settlement, on/off-ramp integrations, custody connections, and at least one production payment flow on a public chain.
  • Deep payments expertise across North America and EMEA, spanning fiat and crypto.
  • Experience leading engineering teams through the full SDLC, including requirements writing, technical design, sprint cadence, and delivery ownership.
  • Experience building or materially improving a routing engine, failover strategy, or network performance program.
  • Strong executive and partner communication skills, including the ability to represent the company with networks, sponsor banks, issuers, processors, and regulators.
  • AI-forward mindset with preferred hands-on experience applying LLMs, ML, or agentic systems to network operations.
  • Builder mentality with comfort operating in ambiguity and leading net-new initiatives.
