Description

  • Design high-performance, maintainable, and secure systems that handle millions of verifications.
  • Lead technical excellence by sharing knowledge, mentoring engineers, and setting high standards.
  • Improve automation, scalability, and reliability across the platform.
  • Own end-to-end development in collaboration with product and design teams.
  • Apply a holistic, adaptable approach to solving complex technical challenges.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of Veriff’s common platform infrastructure.
  • Help the team adapt technology to rapidly changing identity verification market needs.
  • Drive business impact through engineering decisions and delivery.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of experience building large-scale applications.
  • Long-term experience with Node.js using TypeScript.
  • Experience owning a specific component, feature, or system.
  • Proven track record of developing, debugging, and shipping software products in large codebases.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
  • Ability to inspire growth within teams by setting new standards.
  • Experience with backend technologies such as Python or Golang is part of the tech stack (preferred context).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform (preferred context).
  • Experience with React, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, or mobile technologies is relevant to the broader platform stack.
