Description

  • Troubleshoot and analyze customer issues, including log file investigation and root-cause analysis
  • Act as a technical focal point in relationships with IT professionals and take ownership of support cases from opening through resolution
  • Diagnose problems across Veeam and third-party components (Microsoft, VMware), determine if issues are defects or misconfigurations, and apply break/fix remedies
  • Educate customers by explaining processes, interactions, and corrective actions clearly
  • Document all customer interactions accurately and within SLA in the CRM tool
  • Provide feedback and actionable information to developers and testers based on customer cases
  • Verify recoverability, assist with instant recoveries, and support testing of upgrades in isolated environments (Veeam Backup & Replication context)

Requirements

  • Fluent French and English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Advanced user or administrative level with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025) and Windows 10/11
  • Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, firewall configuration, and networking troubleshooting (NAT, ports, DHCP, DNS)
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms and virtualization troubleshooting (VMware ESX(i) and/or Microsoft Hyper-V) — knowledge of virtualization is a core expectation
  • UNIX/Linux knowledge and experience with Microsoft Exchange administration and database engines (SQL/Oracle) considered a plus
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and explain technical information and take ownership of client issues through resolution
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Product knowledge or experience working with Veeam Backup & Replication and related backup/recovery processes (implied by role)
  • Applicants permanently located outside Romania may be declined (role expects candidates based in Romania)
