Description

  • Integrate and manage security tooling in CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, SCA, secrets scanning, and container image scanning.
  • Design and maintain automated workflows and gates across pull requests, merges, and releases to enforce security checks.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain security pipelines and reusable pipeline templates in Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and TeamCity.
  • Implement and tune risk-based thresholds and rules to align with product teams and reduce false positives.
  • Collaborate with application security and development teams to triage findings, provide remediation guidance, track fixes, and prevent recurrence through guardrails and standards.
  • Configure and maintain repository policies and curation for package repositories (e.g., NuGet, npm) and dependency management systems.
  • Monitor and analyze scanning results, produce dashboards and metrics that show coverage, trends, and risk reduction.
  • Enhance developer experience by providing secure-by-default pipeline configurations, documentation, reusable patterns, and enablement sessions.
  • Support audit preparation, evidence collection, and compliance activities related to the software delivery process.

Requirements

  • Experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering with hands-on CI/CD integration experience.
  • Strong understanding of SSDLC and DevSecOps concepts, including risk-based gates and remediation workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and TeamCity, and pipeline-as-code (YAML).
  • Experience integrating and tuning security tools (SAST, SCA) and familiarity with secrets scanning and container image scanning.
  • Knowledge of artifact repositories, dependency management, and vulnerability/license scanning with policy configuration (e.g., NuGet, npm).
  • Solid Linux and Windows skills, including CLI usage, log analysis, basic networking, and build/container troubleshooting.
  • Experience with automation and configuration management (Ansible, Helm) and containers/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep) and embedding security checks in IaC pipelines.
  • Basic understanding of application and network security concepts and familiarity with monitoring/observability tools for CI/CD and security job troubleshooting.
  • Bonus: scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash; familiarity with compliance frameworks and SBOM experience.
  • Remote work is available only for candidates located in Portugal (applications from permanent locations outside Portugal may not be considered).
