Description

  • Develop and close business within the private sector across an assigned account list.
  • Work with the partner sales community to identify, develop, accelerate, up-sell and close transactions with end customers.
  • Cold-call and prospect a large number of new mid-market and high-segment accounts to generate pipeline.
  • Up-sell and cross-sell to the existing private customer base to grow account value.
  • Maintain forecasts and account/opportunity details in Salesforce.
  • Propose, coordinate, and participate in marketing activities within the territory.
  • Travel to meet customers and partners (expected at least 50% of the time).

Requirements

  • Enterprise sales experience.
  • Proven ability to develop new sales and a track record of selling in the private market to IT infrastructure specialists.
  • Experience selling through both channel and direct models.
  • Experience with vendors associated with virtualization technology is a plus.
  • Experience using Salesforce for forecasting and opportunity management.
  • Self-starter and high-energy salesperson who can learn quickly and perform in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Current full driving license.
  • Business-proficient German and English language skills.
  • Open to candidates based in Germany (applicants permanently located outside Germany may be declined).
