Description

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas by executing sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Generate sales opportunities and build relationships by calling on existing and prospective customers and channel partners.
  • Develop and implement a territory action plan using data analysis and adjust sales techniques based on field results.
  • Identify prospects, set appointments, qualify opportunities, and manage the full sales cycle to close new business.
  • Maintain and develop exceptional working relationships with channel partners to identify and convert new sales opportunities.
  • Lead end-to-end pursuit engagements, including solution presentations and delivering compelling proposals to convey Veeam’s value and differentiate from competitors.
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms with large enterprises by positioning Veeam’s value, TCO, and ROI.
  • Ensure forecasting accuracy and consistent pipeline build; develop and manage account relationship maps for assigned territory.
  • Coordinate with Channel Partner Managers, Marketing, Sales Engineering, SDRs, Deal Desk, and Legal to advance deals and uphold company standards.
  • Act as Veeam’s advocate within customer organizations and represent customer needs internally while identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven history of successfully achieving large sales quotas.
  • Experience introducing new product solutions and services to customers.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate prospect challenges into new business opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills and high energy with a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and creative problem-solving in complex sales environments.
  • Ability to use data intelligence tools for account relationship mapping and tree building.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the channel partner ecosystem (highly desired).
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory as appropriate; high ethical and moral standards.
