Description

  • Lead and manage global payroll operations covering EMEA, Americas, and APJ regions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees, including expatriates and remote workers.
  • Maintain compliance with local, national, and international payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate employee data, salary information, and alignment of payroll processes.
  • Implement and maintain payroll systems and software, driving automation and process improvements.
  • Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers and oversee vendor service delivery.
  • Handle payroll audits and participate in statutory reporting and compliance activities.
  • Resolve complex payroll issues and respond to employee queries in a timely manner.
  • Develop and deliver payroll-related training to HR and management teams.
  • Monitor and report on key payroll metrics and trends to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience managing multi-country payroll operations, preferably within the software or technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of global payroll regulations, compliance, and tax issues.
  • Proficiency with payroll software systems (e.g., ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, etc.).
  • Proven experience managing third-party payroll providers and vendor relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement new payroll technologies.
  • Strong leadership, people management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and departments.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages advantageous); applicants must be permanently located in Poland (Veeam reserves the right to decline applicants outside Poland); professional payroll certification (CPP, CIPP, or equivalent) is a plus.
