Description

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable frontend solutions using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, interactive user interfaces with strong attention to detail.
  • Work independently to define solutions and execute projects that support team goals.
  • Take ownership of commitments, deliver work on time, and proactively improve projects and team processes.
  • Participate in code reviews and team discussions to improve code quality and share knowledge.
  • Write unit tests for new frontend features using tools such as Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning sessions, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Integrate frontend applications with cloud services, preferably AWS services such as S3 and CloudFront.
  • Stay current with frontend technologies and industry trends to support product improvements.
  • Mentor new hires, interns, or junior engineers when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, specifically frontend development.
  • Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Strong experience implementing UI designs accurately with attention to visual and interaction details.
  • Experience writing unit tests for UI components using Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, preferably GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of AWS services for frontend applications such as S3 and CloudFront; serverless technologies are a plus.
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services via RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban Agile frameworks.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git is preferred.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for frontend applications is preferred.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices is preferred.
  • Experience in fintech or a fast-paced startup environment is preferred.
