Description

  • Lead and mentor the BI team across L1, L2, and L3 levels by setting goals, giving feedback, and driving high performance.
  • Identify, hire, and retain top BI and analytics talent while supporting career growth and skill development.
  • Provide technical guidance by overseeing dashboard design standards, semantic modeling, and SQL best practices.
  • Plan and prioritize team deliverables across multiple stakeholders to meet commitments to the Leadership Team and business groups.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in Product, Finance, Credit, Operations, and the C-suite to translate business needs into prioritized analytics initiatives.
  • Define and lead the self-service BI strategy, including adoption of Tableau, Power BI, and Redash and training business users.
  • Manage business metrics and KPI governance by ensuring consistent definitions and a reliable metrics catalog.
  • Manage the BI budget, including software licenses and cloud compute costs, and justify investments.
  • Identify and implement workflow improvements such as report automation, dbt/modeling improvements, and dashboard code reviews.
  • Explore and promote innovation through new analytics tools and approaches, including generative AI, embedded analytics, and product analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Master’s degree, such as an MBA or a related program, is preferred.
  • Advanced English level with ability to deliver executive presentations and communicate fluently.
  • Availability to work 100% remotely.
  • Proven track record of building BI teams that act as strategic business partners.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to synthesize complex information and influence without formal authority.
  • Desired certifications in Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience in analytics strategy and self-service BI is desired.
  • Experience in agile project management is desired.
  • Executive data storytelling skills are desired.
