Description

  • Create and execute polished visual design concepts that align with brand and solve client business needs across platforms and viewports.
  • Craft and present high-fidelity design directions and contribute ideas through brainstorms, references, sketches, storyboards, mood boards, and conceptual designs.
  • Maintain a high standard of design quality, presentation, process, and client collaboration.
  • Stay current on and champion new AI practices, design methodologies, trends, and techniques.
  • Create working prototypes and motion concepts, including prototypes in Figma and other AI tools.
  • Develop design systems, style guides, brand guides, and other artifacts that visualize the intended user experience and support development.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, strategists, copywriters, creative directors, developers, and other visual designers.
  • Build and sustain effective working relationships internally and externally, especially within the design group.
  • Mentor junior designers and help build a dynamic design culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven agency or studio experience designing digital experiences across a variety of industries.
  • Strong experience designing brand and/or systematic design experiences across multiple channels.
  • Fluency in English with the ability to verbally communicate and present to North American team members and clients.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain and defend design work.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate project ambition, UX input, and narrative into compelling design solutions.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to take direction and support group processes.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, work under tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects and stakeholders without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and focus on the right work throughout the design process.
  • Experience using Figma and Figma-related AI tools, as well as image generators, as core tools in the workflow.
  • Ability to guide more junior designers on design principles and best practices is preferred.
