Description

  • Process, review, and file independent contractor records and required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Review new contractor contracts and supporting documents for company and legal compliance.
  • Run and analyze motor vehicle record (MVR) reports and background checks for prospective and current contractors.
  • Follow up with Operations Managers to obtain missing or illegible contracting documentation.
  • Support Operations with contracting-process questions and issues.
  • Enter contractor information into industry-specific software and assign vendor numbers to new contractors.
  • Respond to contractor inquiries about driver opportunities, contracting requirements, and related issues.
  • Maintain independent contractor files, prepare requested reports, and conduct analyses.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–5 years of administrative, legal, and/or compliance-related experience required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Compliance and/or legal certifications preferred.
  • Customer service and/or personnel support experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform routine, repetitive work accurately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database software; ability to work across multiple screens.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, build trust, and understand independent contractor relationships.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work overtime as needed; availability for extra hours, weekends, and holidays preferred.

Benefits

  • Pay of up to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Full-time benefits include 401(k), health insurance, disability and life insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays.
  • Part-time benefits include 401(k) and paid sick time.
  • Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
