Description

  • Lead acquisition continuous process improvement initiatives from intake through implementation and sustainment.
  • Gather stakeholder input and prioritize CPI opportunities using structured facilitation methods such as multi-voting.
  • Assess effort, risk, resource needs, and expected impact for proposed initiatives and prepare supporting analysis and briefings.
  • Develop CPI charters, work breakdown structures, schedules, and project plans, and track execution against them.
  • Report initiative status on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Support acquisition Integrated Project Teams with facilitation, coordination, and improvement recommendations.
  • Define and track KPIs and performance measures to show results and sustain continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain process guides, desk guides, flow charts, templates, and training aids.
  • Prepare clear deliverables in Microsoft 365 formats and PDF for operational use.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Recent experience supporting federal acquisitions within the last 48 months.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal acquisition processes and the FAR.
  • Process improvement experience aligned to CMMI or an equivalent framework.
  • CMMI Practitioner certification is required.
  • Ability to build and manage project plans, schedules, risks, and stakeholder communications using MS Project or similar tools.
  • Strong writing and documentation skills with a track record of producing usable, repeatable process products.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Eligibility for CAC issuance.
  • Ability to handle sensitive procurement-related information and comply with DHS/USCG information protection requirements.
