Description

  • Design end-to-end payment experiences across web interfaces and conversational AI agents.
  • Translate complex payment workflows, including ACH, debit, failed payments, into intuitive user experiences.
  • Define and evolve conversational interaction patterns, including dialogue flows, fallback behaviors, and multi-step task completion.
  • Partner with product managers and engineers to shape product direction, scope solutions, and deliver user outcomes.
  • Use data, experimentation, and user behavior insights to iterate on designs and improve payment success and engagement.
  • Contribute to and extend design systems by establishing reusable patterns for AI-native and conversational experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of product design experience delivering end-to-end user experiences for digital products.
  • Experience designing conversational, chat-based, or AI-assisted user interfaces.
  • Experience designing complex workflows with branching logic, edge cases, and error handling.
  • Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools for interactive or conversational flows.
  • Preferred: Experience designing LLM-powered interfaces such as chatbots, AI agents, or copilots.
  • Preferred: Experience designing transactional or financial workflows such as payments, checkout, or lending.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with fintech or regulated consumer products.
  • Preferred: Ability to define new interaction patterns in emerging product spaces.
  • Preferred: Experience working with design systems and contributing reusable components or frameworks.
  • Remote role with the ability to work on East/West coast time zones.

  • Base salary range of $162,100–$224,500 USD for U.S. remote candidates and $153,000–$190,000 CAD for Canada remote candidates.
