Description

  • Own the technical vision for complex systems powering federal and public sector data pipelines.
  • Drive architectural strategies focused on scale, performance, and security compliance.
  • Write production-ready code and lead projects supporting mission-critical workloads.
  • Solve technical challenges in data orchestration at scale, secure data flow optimization, and AI-first infrastructure for sensitive workloads.
  • Align engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to deliver compliant public sector solutions.
  • Guide architectural decisions that balance innovation with risk mitigation.

Requirements

  • 5–9 years of experience building software for US government or Department of Defense networks.
  • Active SECRET clearance required; TS/SCI clearance is strongly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in Python, distributed architectures, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proven success leading mission-critical technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Passion for performance, reliability, and elegant, compliant solutions.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%.
  • Experience with AI/ML systems, unstructured data, or real-time pipelines is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, IL5, or other compliance frameworks is a plus.
  • Expertise with Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, or scaling SaaS infrastructure is a plus.
  • Startup experience in fast-moving, high-impact environments is a plus.
