Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of the company’s data platform architecture.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define problems, shape solutions, and own them through production.
  • Translate complex, ambiguous requirements into resilient data engineering designs.
  • Identify data bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Pitch and deliver architectural improvements.
  • Influence the data engineering roadmap toward technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with senior software and data engineers on platform problems and solutions.
  • Work with non-technical stakeholders to convert business needs into technical requirements for team delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals applied to data engineering.
  • Expertise with data streaming technologies such as Kafka and Flink.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively within a team setting.
  • Experience translating non-technical stakeholder needs into technical requirements.
  • Strong professional verbal and written English skills for frequent global communication.
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
