Description

  • Design and run experiments to improve ad performance, efficiency, and measurement quality.
  • Develop scalable models and algorithms for bidding strategy, auction dynamics, and user value estimation.
  • Partner with engineering teams to bring research ideas into production systems.
  • Analyze large datasets using statistical and machine learning methods.
  • Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute research that directly influences campaign performance and advertiser outcomes.

Requirements

  • Academic background in machine learning, optimization, statistics, or econometrics.
  • Experience working with large datasets using Python, R, SQL, or Spark.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
  • Track record of rigorous, high-quality research.
  • Experience or coursework in advertising, marketplaces, or recommendation systems (preferred).
  • Familiarity with causal inference methods such as A/B testing or uplift modeling (preferred).
  • Genuine curiosity about applied research and the drive to see ideas through to impact (preferred).
  • Ability to communicate professionally in English with colleagues and partners worldwide.
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
