Description

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their workflows and design Virtual Agents that automate their processes.
  • Build and improve the Virtual Agent development platform in support of the company’s product strategy.
  • Ensure AI services meet high standards for reliability, observability, availability, and performance.
  • Provide hands-on support for machine learning models as they launch and help customers realize value from them.
  • Develop self-service tools that enable customers to use AI solutions more independently over time.
  • Participate in the machine learning community to shape how machine learning and computer vision are applied at Unitary.
  • Own customer outcomes and make decisions that improve the customer experience.
  • Contribute across the stack, including software engineering, DevOps, MLOps, and light project management.

Requirements

  • Strong Python and machine learning engineering skills.
  • Experience using AI to solve customer problems.
  • Ability to develop or learn to develop agentic AI systems that automate human processes.
  • Understanding of software deployment through Kubernetes, with the ability to deploy some infrastructure elements independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills for analyzing workflows and designing automated solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort leading technical deliveries with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Product mindset and genuine curiosity for solving current and future customer challenges.
  • Comfort working in a collaborative environment where team outcomes matter more than individual output.
  • Ability to travel to company-wide offsites three times per year.
  • Preferred: experience in a fully remote, international team.
  • Preferred: previous startup experience.
  • Preferred: background in building and operating agentic AI systems.
  • Preferred: experience with MLOps practices and monitoring machine learning systems in production.
  • Preferred: familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices such as GitLab CI and Argo CD.
  • Preferred: proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Preferred: experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Preferred: experience with Large Language Models and interest in staying current with AI advancements.
