Description

  • Gather business requirements and develop advanced data mining, machine learning and business intelligence solutions or identify and deploy existing solutions.
  • Specify and design presentation interfaces with optimal usability and user experience.
  • Identify, collect, convert and update diverse data types and datasets across multiple locations using ETL processes.
  • Produce data models tailored to specific problem statements.
  • Write scripts and program components required to implement analytics solutions.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of the analytics architecture and solution stack, including performance, physical design and capacity considerations.
  • Prepare documentation for tasks and coordinate with other project teams to address cross-project interdependencies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree and 11 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree and 15 years of experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of specific expertise in robust back-end application development with Python.
  • At least 2 years of specific expertise with ETL workflows for batch and streaming processing, including document ingestion and parsing (PDF, Docx, HTML).
  • Minimum 4 years of specific expertise with SQL RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Minimum 4 years of specific expertise with RESTful API design principles, OpenAPI/Swagger, async and streaming endpoints, and production-grade logging/monitoring.
  • At least 1 year of specific expertise with Azure Functions, Azure AI Search, and Azure Blob Storage.
  • At least 1 year of specific expertise with vector databases and semantic search technologies (embedding models, hybrid search algorithms, indexing and reranking).
  • Experience in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing and excellent knowledge of data analytics techniques and tools.
  • Experience with languages such as R, Python and PERL, and proficiency in continuous code delivery and unit testing.
  • Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, SAS, SAP, GoodData), ETL tools (e.g., Talend Open Studio), NoSQL/MongoDB/Hadoop tooling, scalable modern data store architectures, and familiarity with use cases like forecasting, recommendation, simulation, sentiment/topic detection, social media processing and anomaly/trend detection.
