Description

  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, account reconciliations, and management reports for multiple clients.
  • Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and related accounting transactions.
  • Use FloQast, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, and Xero to support close management, workflow tracking, automation, and reporting.
  • Support client onboarding, including setting up Sage Intacct and implementing accounting workflows.
  • Respond to client requests and provide timely financial insights and day-to-day accounting support.
  • Assist with payroll processing, payroll compliance, tax filings, and reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with internal finance, operations, sales, and account management teams to align deliverables and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards, and assist with audit schedules and financial compliance documentation.
  • Contribute to process improvement by standardizing workflows, strengthening internal controls, and optimizing reconciliation and close processes.
  • Participate in global accounting meetings and cross-regional collaboration across multiple time zones.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of accounting experience as a Staff Accountant or Controller, preferably in outsourced accounting, advisory services, or a CPA firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CPA eligibility preferred for Senior Staff Accountant roles, or in lieu of a degree, 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct is required.
  • Experience using FloQast for close management, reconciliation tracking, and workflow automation is required.
  • Strong technical expertise in multi-entity and multi-currency accounting functions.
  • Experience with payroll, sales tax filings, and financial audits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in SaaS, outsourced accounting, or financial consulting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP implementations and financial technology integrations is preferred.
  • Experience in client-facing financial advisory roles is preferred.
