Description

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain REXX applications on IBM Mainframe systems.
  • Design and support Broadcom OPS/MVS automation rules for system automation and monitoring.
  • Work with z/OS system components and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Develop and optimize DB2 SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure system stability.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support production deployments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in REXX programming.
  • Strong knowledge of Broadcom OPS/MVS rule development and automation.
  • Good understanding of the IBM z/OS operating system.
  • Hands-on experience with DB2 database development.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience debugging and resolving production issues in Mainframe environments.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and IBM Utilities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of mainframe scheduling tools such as CA-7 or Control-M is preferred.
  • Familiarity with mainframe source code management tools such as Endevor or Changeman is preferred.
