Description

  • Answer calls promptly and provide interpretation in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocol, without omissions or additions.
  • Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation, enunciation, and polite expressions.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor throughout each call.
  • Follow client instructions and protocol while supporting communication with limited English-speaking persons.
  • Avoid interacting with the LEP without the client’s permission.
  • Provide purely interpretation services without handling escalations or resolution requests.
  • Maintain punctuality and availability during scheduled work hours.

Requirements

  • Excellent English and fluency in the assigned native language, with the ability to read and write in both languages.
  • Only nationals or permanent residents with strong knowledge of both languages.
  • Willingness to work from home on a 9-hour shift, including a 1-hour break, scheduled anytime between 8:00 pm and 8:00 am Malaysia time.
  • Ability to work permanent night shifts.
  • Willingness to work on public holidays and weekends.
  • Own stable home internet with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
  • Own an Android phone version 6 or above, or iOS 12 or above.
  • Ability to speak clearly with proper pronunciation, enunciation, and polite expressions.
  • Language pairs include English-Khmer, English-Italian, English-Bulgarian, English-Hungarian, English-Portuguese Cape Verdean Creole, English-Russian, English-Uzbek, and English-Burmese.

  • Salary of RM 30 per hour, approximately RM 4,800 per month.
