Description

  • Facilitate communication between English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking parties during live calls.
  • Accurately interpret conversations between callers and operators in real time.
  • Convey messages clearly in the caller’s preferred language to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Handle calls involving both simple and complex topics across multiple industries.
  • Support interpretation for non-technical, technical, and emergency-related conversations, including 911 calls.
  • Work from a home office in a quiet and secure environment.
  • Follow a rotating night-shift schedule as assigned by the client.
  • Participate in 3 weeks of daytime training before starting live operations.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English, including reading, speaking, and writing.
  • Fluent in Mandarin, including reading, speaking, and writing.
  • Must work from home from a quiet and secure location.
  • Must have an Android phone with Android 12 or above, or an iPhone with iOS 15 or above.
  • Must have an updated laptop.
  • Must be willing to work rotating night shifts for 9 hours within a 24-hour schedule.
  • Must be willing to work on public holidays because the operation runs 24/7.
  • Must be available for a 12-month contract, renewable.
  • Must be open to rotating days off each week.
  • Must be located in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, or Cambodia.

Benefits

  • RM30 per hour, with a minimum monthly pay of RM4,800 based on 160 hours.

  • Some Malaysia and U.S. public holidays off.
  • Training allowance during the 3-week daytime training period.
