Description

  • Answer calls promptly and provide interpretation in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions.
  • Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation, enunciation, and polite expressions.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor throughout each call.
  • Follow client instructions and protocol when working with limited English-speaking persons (LEP).
  • Avoid interacting with the LEP without the client’s permission.
  • Provide purely interpretation services between English and Bengali.
  • Maintain punctuality and availability during scheduled work hours.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Bengali, including the ability to read and write Bengali.
  • Sound knowledge of both languages for Malaysian nationals or permanent residents.
  • Must be able to work from home on a permanent night shift schedule.
  • Willing to work 9-hour shifts anytime between 8:00 pm and 8:00 am, including a 1-hour break.
  • Willing to work on public holidays and weekends.
  • Must have stable home internet with a minimum of 5 MB download speed and 1 MB upload speed.
  • Must own a mobile phone with Android 6.0 or above, or iOS 12 or above.
  • Open to Malaysian citizens, spouse visa holders, and others eligible for the role.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week based on the assigned schedule.

  • Salary of RM 30 per hour, approximately RM 5,200 per month.
