Description

  • Act as the functional and technical lead for Kafka implementation.
  • Design application architecture for real-time capabilities and real-time applications.
  • Manage Kafka architecture with a focus on performance tuning.
  • Work with a team of 5-6 developers to implement Kafka solutions.
  • Provide technical input and guidance to the development team for Kafka implementation.
  • Support real-time data streaming use cases such as change data capture and REST APIs.

Requirements

  • Confluent or Apache Kafka experience, with Apache preferred.
  • Experience implementing Kafka from scratch in both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Cloud experience with Azure or AWS, with Azure preferred.
  • Hands-on experience building real-time data streaming solutions such as REST APIs or streaming change data capture.
  • 3+ years of architecture design experience within Kafka.
  • 3+ years of SQL query, debugging, and performance improvement experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on development in web technologies such as Angular or React.
  • Strong .NET experience creating REST APIs is highly preferred and currently required.
  • AI-assisted coding experience using GitHub Copilot or similar tools is required.
  • Healthcare industry experience, including knowledge of healthcare data, is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of EDI 834 and 820 is a bonus.
  • Experience with FACETS, FACETS extensions, and member-related application areas is required.
  • FHIR API experience is a bonus.
