Description

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of account executives focused on new business acquisition.
  • Drive sales strategy to position Twilio’s customer data platform and displace competitors across messaging, voice, email, and customer data.
  • Acquire new customer accounts, including high-growth technology, logistics, and fintech companies.
  • Develop and execute account acquisition strategies that leverage Twilio’s platform differentiation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales Development, Legal, Engineering, Security, Marketing, Product, Finance, Support, and Operations.
  • Guide the team through complex sales cycles and strategic customer conversations.
  • Set and manage team activity targets, including client meetings, face-to-face meetings, and client meals.
  • Run disciplined forecasting with weekly updates, quarterly commit/most likely/best case reporting, and quota attainment accountability.
  • Coach the team while balancing autonomy and direct support when needed.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience, including 4 years in building teams, managing monthly forecasting, and supporting fiscal planning and revenue tracking for major regional accounts.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Experience selling CPaaS or SaaS and managing complex sales negotiations.
  • Highly analytical, data-driven, innovative, and naturally curious problem solver.
  • Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision to drive results.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and cross-functional work in a high-growth environment.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent required; MBA is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence (preferred).
  • Ability to influence and build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization (preferred).
  • Proficiency in a local APAC language would be beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel, with approximately 40% travel expected for the role.
