Description

  • Develop and implement automated and AI-powered security solutions for Twilio’s cloud and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Build orchestrated workflows that combine structured and unstructured data sources for security automation.
  • Design and prototype LLM-driven applications for security analysis, incident response, and governance tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional security and engineering teams to identify needs and deliver solutions.
  • Contribute to the security automation and AI roadmap with attention to business impact, feasibility, and scalability.
  • Own, operate, and maintain automated workflows and AI-driven systems, including reliability and performance targets.
  • Support on-call operations for team-owned tools, pipelines, and AI models.
  • Document processes, procedures, AI models, and orchestration systems clearly for knowledge sharing.
  • Track emerging trends in security automation, data orchestration, and AI/LLMs and apply them to security operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer building internal tools and automating workflows at scale.
  • Proficiency in Python or another scripting language for development, testing, and automation.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI/ML models, including LLMs, to automate business or security processes.
  • Solid understanding of software security principles, secure coding practices, and security automation.
  • Experience with data orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CI/CD systems such as BuildKite, and container platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills across security and engineering teams.
  • Experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) technologies and incident response automation is preferred.
  • Ability to design security automation frameworks that are reliable, reusable, and scalable is preferred.
  • Interest in or hands-on experience using AI/ML and LLMs in cybersecurity, compliance, or infrastructure operations is preferred.
  • Ability to connect AI and automation capabilities to broader security strategy is preferred.
  • Role is remote and based in the UK.
  • Occasional travel may be required for project or team in-person meetings.
