Description

  • Design and implement fault-tolerant, robust cloud infrastructure in AWS.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for a multi-account, multi-service environment.
  • Build internal tools that improve engineer efficiency and simplify the development process.
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to share knowledge and build expertise.
  • Write clean, high-quality code and tests to keep systems fast, reliable, and monitorable.
  • Lead and participate in development lifecycle activities including design, coding, testing, and production release.
  • Contribute to engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
  • Mentor other engineers and perform deep code reviews.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience designing, building, and scaling services, especially on cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • 2+ years of professional experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Experience using IaC with Continuous Deployment is preferred.
  • 2+ years of professional experience with CI/CD tools such as CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong communication skills for discussing complex technical concepts with engineers and non-engineers.
  • Strong ownership and bias for action, including the ability to drive projects from start to finish and lead cross-functional work.
  • Ability to write understandable, testable code with a focus on maintainability.
  • Proactive and empathetic mindset focused on solving customer problems.

  • Base salary range of $190,000 to $235,000, depending on location, skills, and experience.
  • Additional compensation may include bonuses, commissions, and equity.
