Description

  • Develop and implement automated and AI-powered security solutions for Twilio’s cloud and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Build orchestrated workflows that combine structured and unstructured data sources to support security decision-making at scale.
  • Design and prototype LLM-driven applications for security analysis, incident response, and governance tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional security and engineering teams to identify needs and deliver AI-enabled solutions.
  • Contribute to the security automation and AI roadmap with attention to business impact, feasibility, and scalability.
  • Own, operate, and maintain automated workflows and AI-driven systems supporting security programs such as cloud security, product security, GRC, and enterprise security.
  • Ensure the reliability and performance of owned systems against SLOs and KPIs.
  • Support on-call operations for tools, pipelines, and AI models owned by the team.
  • Document processes, procedures, AI models, and orchestration systems for knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current on trends in security automation, data orchestration, and AI/LLMs and apply relevant innovations to security operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer building internal tools and automating workflows at scale.
  • Proficiency in Python or another scripting language for development, testing, and automation.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI/ML models, including LLMs, to automate complex business or security processes.
  • Strong understanding of software security principles, secure coding practices, and security automation.
  • Experience with data orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code using Terraform, CI/CD systems such as BuildKite or similar, and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with SOAR technologies and practices, especially for scaling automated incident response, is preferred.
  • Proven ability to design and implement security automation frameworks that are reliable, reusable, and scalable, is preferred.
  • Experience building AI/ML models for cybersecurity, compliance, or infrastructure operations, is preferred.
  • Ability to connect AI and automation capabilities with security strategy across cloud and enterprise environments, is preferred.
