Description

  • Operate and continuously improve production infrastructure across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Lead production incident response, root-cause analysis, remediation, and reliability improvements.
  • Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, performance, capacity planning, and cloud-cost efficiency.
  • Build and support developer platforms, release pipelines, and deployment automation.
  • Develop reusable Terraform modules and automate infrastructure workflows.
  • Operate production Kubernetes and GKE environments, including scaling, networking, security, observability, and troubleshooting.
  • Design and troubleshoot cloud networking, including VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, routing, DNS, and WAFs.
  • Partner with engineering and security teams on IAM, secrets management, network security, and infrastructure controls.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to improve log analysis, debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Mentor engineers and lead initiatives that improve reliability, security, and developer productivity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
  • Hands-on ownership of production GCP environments.
  • Independent experience with Terraform, CI/CD systems, and production Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Cloud Deploy, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, distributed systems, and cloud networking.
  • Experience with VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, WAFs, and cloud-security practices.
  • Strong scripting or programming ability in Python, Go, Shell, or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience managing complex production incidents, conducting root-cause analysis, and implementing preventive improvements.
  • Availability to work remotely from Brazil with regular overlap with U.S. Pacific Time and participation in a global on-call rotation.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure, configuration-management tools, container security, advanced GCP controls, or Google Cloud certifications is preferred.
