Description

  • Complete PSA system contract setup tasks, including reviewing contract terms, configuring billing schedules and rates, and initiating resource requests.
  • Perform PSA labor and expense-based project setup using practice-specific templates and project requirements.
  • Create billing milestone tasks and complete resource assignment process tasks.
  • Review contracts and projects for compliance and release them for integration into the ERP system.
  • Support contract management and compliance activities, including billing, revenue, and forecast reconciliations.
  • Conduct project setup audits and help project managers ensure financial setup aligns with contract obligations.
  • Coordinate month-end compliance deliverables with accounting, project management, and consulting/delivery teams.
  • Act as a liaison between Project Operations and Accounting, Delivery Leadership, Project Managers, Sales Operations, Sales, Compliance, and Procurement.
  • Manage delivery survey processes, departmental reporting updates, and evaluation of key reports.
  • Own project change order execution, including preparing, reviewing, and supporting change orders and training project managers on the process.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of related experience.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of Professional Services and Managed Services SOW constructs and how they translate into accounting and project setup.
  • Project accounting background or knowledge.
  • Proficiency with Project Accounting, Excel, Visio, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, NetSuite OpenAir, CRM, and SharePoint is desired.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, especially Excel.
  • Ability to communicate financial and project process concepts clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, time management, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, adapt quickly to changing technology, and influence without direct authority.
