Description

  • Drive assigned routes along public roads and areas in Würzburg and surrounding zones to collect mapping imagery.
  • Operate a vehicle equipped with a roof-mounted 360-camera system to capture images of streets, landmarks, and public spaces.
  • Store captured data on in-vehicle computers and ensure the collection process supports later map improvement work.
  • Revisit selected areas when needed to improve image quality, including after poor weather conditions.
  • Follow specific route assignments focused on business districts and historical sites.
  • Work on an expected Monday-to-Friday schedule of 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with availability to work longer days if desired.
  • Maintain reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented field operations throughout the project duration.
  • Communicate effectively and support coordination during field data collection activities.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with at least 1-2 years of driving experience.
  • Must have access to a parking space for a vehicle.
  • Must be authorized to work in Germany.
  • Must pass a security screening.
  • Good driving skills and a strong understanding of local roads and traffic trends.
  • Responsible, reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Good communication skills and a high sense of accountability.
  • General car knowledge and comfort working in a field-based driving role.
  • Tech-savvy with a smartphone and basic apps.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work in an outdoor, route-based project environment.
