Description

Communicate with internal teams and external partners to support project goals.
Create city-level transit data policies based on local market needs and regulations.
Identify user expectations, data gaps, and transit-related issues.
Improve transit data models using local knowledge of transportation systems.
Validate and review updated transit data and edit or maintain transit data records.
Resolve complex mapping and transit data issues.
Support program managers in communication with data providers and partners.
Conduct field research to verify transit information and user issues.
Support outage and alert management for assigned cities.
Create country-specific guideline documents and serve as a point of contact for country-level mapping questions.
Provide local expertise on mapping policies, regional regulations, traffic laws, landmarks, and political mapping formats.
Review, troubleshoot, and quality-audit mapping and operational data before system integration.

Requirements

1–3 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Good communication skills in English and the local language.
Basic programming knowledge in Python, Java, C#, or C++.
Familiarity with GIS or mapping tools.
Strong knowledge of local transit systems, traffic laws, and landmarks.
Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
