Description

  • Oversee the user experience for consumer- and client-facing products in partnership with product managers, designers, and engineers.
  • Lead design sprints to define and explore product problems.
  • Create content maps, sketches, wireframes, low- and high-fidelity prototypes, and design concepts.
  • Facilitate stakeholder reviews and deliver high-quality design work at speed.
  • Conduct user research and client feedback sessions to understand needs and inform pre-build decisions.
  • Use research, user data, and competitive insights to continuously improve products.
  • Propose new product concepts and stay current on consumer behavior, technology, and design trends.
  • Solicit and provide cross-functional feedback to raise design quality.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product design, preferably for consumer products.
  • Experience designing consumer product experiences and balancing end-to-end user needs.
  • Ability to interpret APIs and code to create and prototype product designs.
  • Experience using research and data to inform design decisions.
  • Ability to identify user journeys before prototyping and iterate based on competitor and user insights.
  • Proven ability to conduct user research and client feedback sessions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to incorporate feedback.
  • Proficiency designing intuitive native mobile and web applications.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Sketch, and GitHub.
