Description

  • Design and propose technical solutions, including non-functional requirements and tool choices, and create supporting technical documentation.
  • Develop and maintain backend services, API endpoints, entities, repositories, and admin-portal UI components.
  • Create and maintain unit and integration tests, estimate effort, and lead complex bug-fixing and development initiatives.
  • Build and maintain monitoring, metrics, alerts, and dashboards using systems such as Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, and New Relic.
  • Monitor system health and performance, support operational teams (e.g., MTS, banking), and perform production database changes when required.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives: gather business requirements, participate in functional discussions with Product, defend proposals, and document features.
  • Head technical refinements and create plans for task-forces to address complex technical challenges.
  • Provide trainings for newcomers and operational, technical, and functional teams to ensure knowledge transfer and operational readiness.
  • Analyze large volumes of data and logs, investigate complex incidents, and validate that systems are performing as expected.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge and experience with Java.
  • Strong foundation in software engineering concepts and best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases and ability to write and update SQL queries.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience creating and maintaining unit and integration tests, APIs, backend services, and repositories.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, New Relic) is desirable.
  • Ability to work autonomously, lead technical initiatives, estimate efforts, and support production operations (including PROD DB changes).
  • Ability to analyze high volumes of logs/data and perform complex incident investigations.
  • Clear and objective communicator, able to work with remote and international teams; English fluency not required but you should be comfortable participating in meetings.
