Description

  • Contribute innovative ideas to the technical and product roadmaps and estimate effort for discovery and execution.
  • Work with product managers and engineers to translate business needs into scalable technical implementations.
  • Proactively anticipate code failures and downstream impacts to prevent issues before they occur.
  • Own complex initiatives end to end, from stakeholder scoping through production deployment and maintenance.
  • Improve code quality through detailed code reviews and team-level best practices for AI-assisted development.
  • Track technical debt rigorously and identify clear paths to resolution.
  • Serve as the technical authority for the most challenging problems in your area of expertise.
  • Mentor engineers and data scientists through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Facilitate high-stakes meetings with technical and non-technical stakeholders and communicate business impact clearly.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, or a similar quantitative field.
  • Proven experience using AWS services such as S3 and Lambda.
  • Experience using SageMaker to build, train, and deploy machine learning models at scale.
  • Mastery of Python.
  • Deep experience with machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, and optimization.
  • Ability to make well-reasoned architectural design trade-offs across multiple components of a domain.
  • Experience using AI tools to rapidly prototype features and define validation standards for AI-generated code.
  • Solid understanding of product experiment design, analytics, and statistically rigorous analysis.
  • Familiarity with modern ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
  • Experience building model development pipelines and productionizing models at scale.
