Description

  • Oversee program, project, and task-order delivery to ensure work is on schedule, within budget, contract-compliant, and aligned with customer expectations.
  • Serve as the senior customer contact and escalation point, conducting account reviews and proactively addressing satisfaction, performance, and delivery risks.
  • Lead and supervise Program Managers, Project Managers, technical teams, and assigned employees, including coaching, performance reviews, utilization, career development, and personnel actions.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies, partnering with business development teams to pursue new scope, task orders, contract vehicles, and customer opportunities.
  • Manage account financial performance, including revenue, margins, labor utilization, costs, forecasts, invoicing, and corrective actions.
  • Oversee contract administration, including scope, funding, labor categories, staffing, deliverables, reporting, burn rates, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain account scorecards and provide performance reports, forecasts, risk updates, and growth-pipeline visibility to the Federal Services Director.
  • Coordinate staffing, recruiting, onboarding, transitions, retention, succession planning, and resource forecasts across the account.
  • Maintain approximately 50% billable utilization through direct customer delivery or program delivery responsibilities.
  • Develop delivery plans, staffing plans, financial reporting, compliance documentation, team development roadmaps, and delivery methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7–10+ years of experience, including at least 3 years managing consulting or professional-services teams and/or federal programs.
  • Ability to balance direct billable customer delivery with portfolio leadership, personnel management, financial oversight, and business development.
  • In-depth knowledge of security domains such as cloud, endpoint security, risk management, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS frameworks.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance.
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, or PMP certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience building or scaling a professional services or engineering team and working in fast-paced consulting environments preferred.
