Description

  • Lead investigations into high-severity security incidents and identify root causes to prevent recurrence.
  • Take immediate action to contain threats and remediate impacted systems.
  • Perform host, memory, and network forensics to identify indicators of compromise.
  • Write scripts in Python, Bash, and PowerShell to automate response tasks.
  • Build and maintain SOAR playbooks to streamline incident response workflows.
  • Monitor security alerts and conduct threat hunting to detect malicious activity.
  • Create detailed post-mortem reports and update operational runbooks.
  • Collaborate on incident response processes and support ongoing security operations.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or system engineering.
  • Proficiency with network protocols such as TCP/IP and DNS.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience using SIEM, EDR, and SOAR tools.
  • Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and the NIST IR Lifecycle.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred certifications include GIAC, GCIH, CISSP, or CEH.
