Description

  • Lead cultural resources projects and provide independent management of archaeological and historic resources work.
  • Direct field studies and supervise field teams and junior cultural resource staff.
  • Perform archaeological research, surveys, monitoring, testing, and data recovery projects.
  • Prepare reports, site forms, preservation documentation, and artifact curation materials.
  • Coordinate project mobilization and demobilization to field sites.
  • Support Section 106 and Section 110 reviews, technical studies, and permitting activities.
  • Collaborate with clients, agencies, and Tribal representatives on project coordination and consultation.
  • Lead proposal development, including scope, schedule, and budget elements.
  • Ensure project scope, schedule, and budget requirements are met.
  • Implement quality review protocols to deliver high-quality technical products.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field.
  • Registered Professional Archaeologist.
  • Ability to hold state permits for archaeology.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience, preferably 8+ years in progressively responsible cultural resource positions.
  • Experience in the desert southwest and intermountain west region, including work with architectural historians.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, professional writing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in project planning, development, and management.
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to pass pre- and post-employment drug and alcohol tests.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.
  • Preferred: permitted or able to be permitted in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
  • Preferred: experience providing cultural resources services across the continental US.
