Description

  • Implement machine-learning algorithms for personalization in gaming and evaluate what works best for the company’s games and data.
  • Design experiments and prototypes to test the viability and efficiency of new AI models.
  • Translate research findings into practical algorithm prototypes within the codebase.
  • Convert prototypes into production-ready code that can be managed and deployed through the ML lifecycle.
  • Design, develop, and evaluate A/B tests to measure the effectiveness of personalization algorithms.
  • Monitor and analyze player data to identify new personalization opportunities and improve existing models.
  • Document work clearly to support knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Collaborate with data, engineering, product, and studio teams across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of industry-standard machine learning techniques, from classification to reinforcement learning and generative methods.
  • Experience applying machine learning algorithms to solve real-world problems.
  • Experience with software development concepts including CI/CD, version control, and containers such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proven track record of deploying machine learning models to production and working with MLOps concepts.
  • Strong command of analytical programming and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, and matplotlib.
  • Familiarity with supporting tools and platforms such as Git, MLflow, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Trino, and Airflow.
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts including hypothesis testing, sampling, and probability distributions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience using generative AI copilots or agents in daily development work.
  • Passion for mobile gaming and desire to create engaging player experiences and drive business results.
  • Preferred: experience with reinforcement learning, A/B testing in online gaming, or working in the games industry.
