Description

  • Assist with accounts payable processing, including invoice entry, payment tracking, and vendor invoice review.
  • Support accounts receivable tasks, including applying payments, basic reconciliation, and maintaining billing and collection reports.
  • Review employee expense reports and credit card transactions, ensuring proper approvals and coding.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and reconcile the AP subledger to the general ledger.
  • Maintain organized financial records, digital documentation, and updated vendor information.
  • Support monthly close activities through data entry, checklist-based tasks, and timely AP/AR-related processing.
  • Provide payroll-related administrative support as needed.
  • Communicate with internal staff to resolve invoice disputes and clarify issues.
  • Assist the Finance team with ad hoc projects and recurring administrative tasks.
  • Perform basic account reconciliations under supervision.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or currently in progress.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in spreadsheets such as Google Sheets or Excel.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2–3 years of experience in the full A/R and A/P cycle is preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures and financial systems is preferred.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Bill.com is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Benefits

  • Remote full-time position.
  • Salary range of $55,000–$65,000 per year.
