Description

  • Lead and implement client infrastructure projects across Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking and Microsoft cloud and server platforms.
  • Deliver solutions that are well-designed, secure, fully documented, and aligned with best practices.
  • Own the client experience by ensuring technology decisions align with company standards and client needs.
  • Develop deep technical knowledge of client systems and maintain accurate documentation and knowledge resources.
  • Support business applications as part of ongoing infrastructure ownership.
  • Collaborate with the vCIO, Service Desk, and other internal teams to deliver seamless service.
  • Build strong client relationships and communicate project plans, status updates, and progress clearly.
  • Participate in the after-hours support rotation and provide assistance when needed.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or MSP environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or heavily contributing to IT projects and implementations.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to documentation and knowledge management.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, including Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, networking, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for SMB and mid-market environments.
