Description

  • Edit security reports for accuracy, clarity, and consistency across application security, blockchain, cryptography, AI/ML, and research engagements.
  • Develop, edit, and publish blog posts that showcase the company’s research and thought leadership.
  • Manage publication workflows through GitHub pull requests and coordinate reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track report throughput, revision cycles, delivery timelines, and other editorial quality metrics for leadership visibility.
  • Build, refine, and use Claude-based tools to automate content creation, style enforcement, and technical verification.
  • Lead document design and editorial work for SOWs, proposals, engineer bios, program overviews, QBR materials, case studies, and testimonials.
  • Own the content calendar and make publishing decisions in coordination with technical marketing and editorial leadership.
  • Create and publish social content, newsletter sections, campaign assets, webinar materials, and conference collateral.
  • Proactively identify stories by interviewing engineers, reviewing tool releases and talks, and turning technical work into published content.
  • Help engineers, sales leads, and GTM teammates produce clearer briefs, stronger talks, and more shareable content.

Requirements

  • Strong editorial skills, including line editing, structural editing, grammar, mechanics, and style guide adherence.
  • Experience editing technical content for accuracy, clarity, and concision in cybersecurity or another technical field.
  • Experience partnering with subject matter experts to develop and shape content.
  • Ability to handle both long-form security reports and short technical blog posts in the same day.
  • Baseline cybersecurity knowledge and the ability to research unfamiliar topics, ask focused questions, and preserve technical meaning.
  • Proactive storytelling instincts and the ability to identify publishable stories without waiting for assignments.
  • Original writing experience across blog posts, case studies, and social content for technical and business audiences.
  • Content marketing experience in a technical B2B environment, including campaigns and content calendar management.
  • Comfort with developer-adjacent tools and workflows such as GitHub, Hugo, Slack, markdown, and Claude.
  • Experience building or using automation to speed editorial workflows.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and defend editorial decisions to engineers and leadership.
  • Experience with InDesign or equivalent design tools, HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms, and editorial operations at scale is preferred.
