Description

  • Diagnose, repair, adjust, and replace retail POS equipment, computer systems, peripherals, and related products.
  • Install, relocate, discontinue, configure, upgrade, and modify retail equipment at customer sites.
  • Communicate work status, issues, and service outcomes with customers, management, and team members.
  • Complete service events accurately, on time, and with minimal disruption to customer operations.
  • Plan and prioritize service assignments, travel, and schedules to meet service-level objectives.
  • Document installations, service calls, mileage, time, travel, and expenses using company systems.
  • Maintain and manage trunk stock to support customer service needs.
  • Perform equipment refurbishment and other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 2+ years of experience in an electronics field.
  • Must be able to travel up to 100% domestically, including regular air travel when required.
  • Basic knowledge of personal computers, network infrastructure, POS equipment, cash registers, scanners, handheld devices, kiosks, printers, and monitors.
  • Mechanical aptitude and competency with electricity, electronics, test equipment, electric meters, and basic hand tools.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair signal, power, and low-voltage wiring systems.
  • Ability to follow written and spoken instructions and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong customer service, multitasking, prioritization, problem-solving, organizational, and independent-work skills.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, overtime, weekends, long hours, and in physically demanding conditions.
  • Ability to drive between customer locations, lift up to 50 pounds, use ladders or lifts, and frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach.
  • This position is not eligible for immigration or work visa sponsorship.
