Description

  • Record everyday household activities from a first-person perspective, including cooking, cleaning, tidying up, folding laundry, gardening, and walking the dog.
  • Capture videos in your own home, yard, garage, or workspace.
  • Follow short recording guidelines for each session.
  • Upload completed videos through the project app.
  • Produce footage that clearly shows useful, intentional tasks without unnecessary pauses or contrived movements.

Requirements

  • Own or use a smartphone or camera device capable of 30 FPS or greater and 1080p resolution or greater.
  • Use an iPhone 11 or newer, Google Pixel 6+ or Samsung Galaxy S21+ with a wide-angle 0.5x lens, or an equivalent device.
  • Mount the device at forehead or eye level for an egocentric perspective and keep a downward angle to maximize hand visibility.
  • Use the designated D&A application for all data capture and upload.
  • Ensure videos are clear, stable, well-lit, and at least 15 seconds long.
  • Record tasks that are genuine, intentional, and suitable for quality control standards.
