Description

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of complex features from technical design and proof of concept through global rollout.
  • Champion Android development best practices, including strong CI/CD pipelines and testing standards.
  • Partner with UX and product management to clarify ambiguity and deliver user value efficiently.
  • Act as a technical leader for more junior engineers through code reviews and mentorship.
  • Help maintain high-quality feature delivery in rapid iterative cycles.
  • Contribute to native mobile app development for a restaurant operations platform.
  • Collaborate with backend systems as part of a mixed Android and backend scope.

Requirements

  • Typically 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proven track record of shipping high-impact native Android apps.
  • Deep knowledge of the Android SDK, Kotlin, and modern architectural patterns such as MVVM and MVI.
  • Experience with backend technologies such as GraphQL and Kotlin microservices.
  • Comfort working with an estimated 70/30 split between Android and backend work.
  • Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and Espresso tests.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Excellent cross-team communication skills for complex technical topics.
  • Passion for technology and learning new things.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $159,000-$254,000 USD in Zone A, $138,000-$221,000 USD in Zone B, and $125,000-$200,000 USD in Zone C.
  • Total rewards package includes cash compensation such as overtime and eligible bonus/commissions.
